The Yaran field is located 95 kilometres west of Ahvaz and adjacent to the Iraqi border. The field is shared with Iraq where it is known as Majnoon field. Yaran has estimated oil in place of 1.6 billion barrels across two separate projects - Yaran North and Yaran South.
