Aaron leads Wood Mackenzie's onshore wind energy research, directing the market research, report content and data delivered to our wind energy clients. Prior to this, he was a director with our consulting practice, where he advised utilities, IPPs, private equity funds, equipment providers, service providers and asset owners on the commercial and strategic implications of the energy transition.
Aaron initially joined Wood Mackenzie through the acquisition of MAKE consulting, a Denmark-based specialist serving the global wind energy market. He has been active on over 50 bespoke consulting projects.
Earlier in his career, Aaron spent eight years with GE Wind Energy in various engineering leadership roles, including competitive assessment, conceptual design, power electronics, advanced wind turbine micrositing and reliability engineering.
