Charvi joined the company in 2021 and has been covering the steel and raw materials market for China, India, CIS, Middle East and Africa. She is responsible for analysing and tracking the steel industry performance, demand-supply forecasting and price forecasting in these regions. She also covers the raw material (iron ore, met coal and scrap) requirement, supply and trade flow for these markets.
Charvi has an overall experience of 9 years in the research industry. Out of which, she has been covering the steel industry for over 7 years.
Prior to Wood Mackenzie, Charvi worked at CRISIL Ltd. (An S&P Global company). During her stint, she worked on multiple commodities with a primary focus on the Indian steel market.
