Report summary
Adimitra Baratama Nusantara (ABN) coal mine is located in the delta region of the Mahakam River, approximately 30 kilometres south-east of the city of Samarinda. The concession operates under an IUP agreement which covers an area of 29 square kilometres with exploitation occurring within a 4 square kilometres area. Thermal coal production from the mine is of both bituminous and sub-bituminous rank with coal predominantly shipped to export markets.
