Report summary

Adimitra Baratama Nusantara (ABN) coal mine is located in the delta region of the Mahakam River, approximately 30 kilometres south east of the city of Samarinda. The concession operates under an IUP agreement which covers an area of 29 square kilometres with exploitation occurring within a 4 square kilometres area. Thermal coal production from the mine is of both bituminous and sub-bituminous rank with all coal shipped to export markets.
