Report summary
China Shenhua is a listed company of CHN Energy. The State Council runs CHN Energy. It was established in 2017 through the merger of the previous Shenhua Group and China Guodian Corporation. It is the largest coal producer in China, owning 72 coal mines with 620 Mtpa coal capacity in total. Shenhua operates several businesses, including coal mining, power generation, railways, ports and coal chemical. Its coal mining business mainly operates in Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi and Shanxi provinces. Total coal capacity is over 340 Mtpa.
