Bumi Barito Mineral (BBM) is a coking coal project located on the upper stretches of the Barito River 60 kilometres northwest of the town of Puruk Cahu, the capital of the Murung Raya Regency in Central Kalimantan. The project initially covered a total area of 200 square kilometres, of which 50 square kilometres was relinquished in 2013 when it transitioned from an Exploration IUP to a Production IUP. The mine is majority owned by ASX listed Australian company Cokal.
