Report summary
Greenhills is a metallurgical coal producing mine in southeastern British Columbia, Canada and operated by Teck Coal. The mine and processing plant have a capacity of 6 Mt a year (100% basis). Greenhills is owned by Teck (80%) and POSCO (20%). The mine produces a medium- to high-volatile metallurgical bituminous coal destined for the seaborne hard coking coal market. Greenhills is part of Teck's larger Elk Valley complex.
