Mandiri Intiperkasa is a surface coal mine located near Tarakan, North Kalimantan. The mine commenced production in 2004, and the majority of the mine's sub-bituminous thermal coal production is exported. The mine is 100% owned by Prima Andalan Mandiri which was listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange during 2021 via an IPO. The mine operates under a Coal Cooperation Agreement (CCA). Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
