Multi Tambangjaya Utama (MTU) is a thermal coal company that is a subsidiary of Indonesia listed energy firm Indika Energy Tbk. MTU operates on a third-generation Coal Contract of Work (PKP2B), which was granted in 1997. The concession is located in the Barito Selatan regency, Central Kalimantan. The license is valid for 30 years until May 2039. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs.
