Report summary
The direct and indirect effects of the coronavirus pandemic resulted in significant demand loss for coal generation. Annual coal generation will fall by 22% in our base case. This insight will examine coal-fired EGU generation under a variety of natural gas price assumptions in order to understand the demand profile of the US thermal coal market.
