China Coal Xinji Energy (hereinafter referred to as Xinji) is a state-controlled company. Xinji is one of the listed coal-producing subsidiaries under China National Coal Group, which is run by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Xinji produces thermal coal and its coal-mining operations are located in Anhui province. We expect Xinji to produce 18.5 Mt of coal in 2023 at an average total cash cost of RMB412.7/t.
