North America gas weekly update: First withdrawal
Report summary
Colder weather is finally arriving and with it weekly US gas storage withdrawals begin. But it’s not just higher heating loads. Sabine Pass Train 6 announced it has started to produce LNG and overall net US LNG exports are at record highs. In December those levels may increase further to average 12 bcfd. Will US gas production increase to meet the higher demand call? If not, storage levels will start to increase its deficit versus the five-year average despite currently over 98% full.
