Sakai - LNG regas terminal

Report summary

The Sakai LNG terminal received its first commercial cargo on 12th January 2006. Since commercial operations began, the majority of imports have been delivered from Indonesia and Australia through Kansai Electric's long-term contracts. Imports have also been delivered from Malaysia and Qatar, where Kansai Electric also has long-term contracts. Long-term LNG supplies from the Australian Ichthys project are also likely to be delivered into this terminal as well. The terminal has ...
