Sines LNG terminal is an onshore LNG import terminal in Alentejo, Portugal.Construction was carried out by Engie's subsidiary, Tractebel. The terminal started operations in 2003, receiving its commissioning cargo from Nigeria in October. On 26 September 2006, ownership of the Sines regasification terminal was transferred from Galp Atlântico (a subsidiary of Galp Energia) to REN's newly formed subsidiary REN Atlântico.
