South Hook - LNG regas terminal
Report summary
South Hook terminal, located in South Wales, is Europe's largest in terms of regas capacity. Opened in 2009, it is owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total and sources nearly all its LNG from Qatargas-2. After a period of low utilisation from mid-2016 to mid-2018, imports levels have start to increase, although utilisation remains below that seen from 2012 to 2016.
