Located in China's southwest, Sichuan has the largest GDP and population of all the western provinces. The provincial government has ambitious plans to upgrade Sichuan's infrastructure and improve the services sector to boost its economic growth. Overall, Sichuan's real GDP is projected to grow at an annual average of 6.5% between 2015 and 2035.
