Bombore gold mine project

Report summary

Bombore is one of the largest undeveloped oxide gold deposits in West Africa. The deposit will be actively mined using open pit methods in the first 11 years, producing a total of 56Mt of ore. Stockpile processing will continue for 2 years on completion of mining activities. Under plans for Phase 1, ore will be processed in a 4.5Mt/a carbon in leach (CIL) circuit for total gold production of 1Moz over a 13 year production period (135koz/a in years 1 - 3). An increase plant capacity to 5.2Mt/a is planned, subject to successful permitting of previously restricted oxides zones within the property area. Commercial production is expected to be declared in 2021.
