Bonikro gold mine
Report summary
Bonikro is an owner operated open pit operation, with ore processing in a carbon-in-leach (CIL) circuit. Newcrest is using the mine and its infrastructure as a central hub from which to carry out regional exploration. Historically the mine has produced around 130koz Au per year. At the end of 2019 Allied Gold Corp awarded a five year mining contract to Capital Drilling, the contract encompassed all mining services at Bonikro.
