Cerro Moro gold mine
Report summary
Cerro Moro is gold-silver operation located in Argentina. The operation is mined using open pit and underground methods, with the operation transitioning to a greater portion of the mill feed coming from underground ore. Ore is processed in a conventional agitated leach plant with gold recovery via a Merrill Crowe circuit. The plant capacity is approximately 1.15kt/d ore. Commercial production was reached in June 2018. A portion of the silver production, the lesser of 20% of payable silver production or 1.2Moz/a, has been sold to Sandstorm at 30% of the spot price, under a 2015 silver purchase agreement.
