    • Key issues
    • As at June 2013, Curis was seeking a rezoning from the town hall, but could start producing from the part of the deposit that is under State legislation; however, the rezoning is crucial for the long term project development.
    • In December 2014, Taseko received a draft underground injection control permit from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The public has 60 days to comment on the permit. During this time, EPA will host a public hearing which may result in the modification of the permit before its final issuance. In order to commence construction of Phase 1, Taseko requires approval from the EPA for the final Underground Injection Control permit.
