Report summary
The 118 deposit is located in the south of the Carajás copper region approximately 60 km south of Carajás and 10 km west of the Sossego deposit. An oxide reserve outcrops at surface which conceptually has the potential to feed a 6 Mt/a leach operation for ten years to produce 36 kt/a SxEw copper at a recovery of 70%. It is now considered part of the Sossego operation in Wood Mackenzie's analysis.
