Report summary

Frieda River is copper gold mine project on the border of the Sanduan and East Sepik provinces of Papua New Guinea. A project update in May 2016 indicates a 17 year mine life and ore processing capacity of 40 million tonnes per year. Open pit mining will feed ore to a conventional flotation processing plant to produce an average of 175kt of copper and 250koz of gold in concentrate per year.
