The Gibraltar mine is located in the region of Cariboo, British Columbia. It is 65km from the town of Williams Lake. Gibraltar exploits a copper and molybdenum porphyry deposit through a conventional open pit mine and two ore concentrators for sulphide ore and a SxEw plant for oxide ore. The concentrators have a 55ktpd and 30ktpd capacity, respectively; while the SxEw plant has a production capacity of 13t/d cathode Cu. The concentrates produced are copper and molybdenum.
