Commodity Market Report
Global lithium short-term outlook November 2022
Report summary
Lithium prices continue to increase, although with a slightly slow momentum than seen earlier in the year as a result of the ongoing supply deficit. We forecast the tightness to continue but with a lower level of supply deficit as new production from brownfield expansions enters the market along with new greenfield production in the coming years. With increased supply we expect prices to start to decline towards the middle of 2023.
