Report summary
Nickel prices are driven down in early June by the first net increase in exchange stocks for eighteen months. But they rally again at the end of the month, even though near-term risks are weighted to the downside. Indonesian NPI continues to ramp up while the threat of Tsingshan Indonesia to stainless producers throughout SE Asia becomes more tangible. But Tsingshan is not having it all its own way.
