Gwalia (Deeps) gold mine
Report summary
The Gwalia Deeps mine is located three kilometres south of the town of Leonora, Western Australia. The Gwalia underground mine and the 1.4Mtpa capacity Gwalia conventional carbon-in-pulp plant. It is owned 100% by St Barbara Limited and referred to by the company as Leonora Operations. The high-grade underground operation has increased annual production to greater than 250koz gold. The Leonora Operations also includes nearby development opportunities which form part of the Company's Leonora Province Plan.
