Asset Report
Hackett River copper mine project
Report summary
Several massive sulphide deposits have been identified and the most significant are the East Cleaver, Boot Lake and Main Zone deposits. The East Cleaver deposit is located 1km to the west of Boot Lake. The Main Zone deposit is 2.8km west of the Boot Lake deposit. The success of this project hinges on the development of key infrastructure in the Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut. As at March 2016, the Bathurst Inlet road-port (BIRP) project remained under evaluation. The mining plan is based on the 2010 PEA, although resource additions have been made since then.
