Hellyer Tailings Restart zinc mine
Report summary
Hellyer project is located in North-West Tasmania, Australia. This profile covers the 8Mt reserves of ore contained within existing tailings dam at Hellyer operation. Tailings dredging and pumping of slurry commenced in August 2018, whereas base metal flotation circuit was commissioned in the same month. Concentrate production and shipping was expected in late 2018. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
