Report summary
Located in Qinghai Province near Xining City. Commissioned in November 2007 at a capital cost of RMB1bn. Utilises a single 125MVA EAF and 4 PMVA "convertors". The smelter produces NPI with a grade of around 10% Ni. This is a Fe-Ni-Cr operations which commenced construction in March 2007 and was commissioned in November. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
