Jundee - Nimary gold mine
Report summary
The Northern Star Resources owned Jundee mine is located in the northern Yandal greenstone belt, 50 kilometres north-east of Wiluna, Western Australia. The mine adjoins with what was formerly Eagle Mining's Nimary operation, and the two operations were consolidated in 1997. Jundee is currently an underground operation, mining narrow, high grade, mineralised zones by open stoping. Ore is processed in a 2.7 Mtpa capacity, carbon-in-leach/carbon-in-pulp plant.
