Report summary

The Kundana mill was closed in 2002 and mining operations have been amalgamated with Paddington and other satellite open pit and underground mines, known collectively as Kalgoorlie West. In December 2001 Gold Fields and Delta Gold merged, shareholders receiving 187 Gold Fields shares for every 200 Delta shares. The merged company was named Aurion Gold and was acquired by Placer Dome in 4Q 2002. The operation was previously known as the White Flag Joint Venture.
