Kuranakh is an open pit operation located in the Aldansky District of the Republic of Sakha in Far Eastern Russia. The operation consists of 11 deposits and 24 stockpiles, situated between 6km and 25km from the processing plant. It utilises conventional drill, blast, rope shovel loading and truck haulage methods. The process plant is comprised of carbon-in-leach and resin-in-pulp circuits, with capacity recently expanded to 6.1Mtpa. A 1.5Mt/a heap leach operation commenced production in 2017, with first dore poured in Q4 2017.
