Loma Larga gold mine project

Report summary

The Technical Report published in August 2016 envisions for this project an underground mine and a conventional 3kt/d ore flotation plant to get two saleable concentrates, a copper concentrate and a pyrite concentrate both containing significant amount of gold and silver. The tailing deposition selected is the Dry Stack Tailing Method. The estimated initial capital investment is US$285.9 million. The estimated mine life is 12 years producing on average 150koz Au/a but higher grades and hence production during the first years of operation.
