Report summary
Mina Justa, comprises exploiting an Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) type deposit through a conventional open pit mine and two processing plants. The commissioning started in 2021. The processing plants includes a 33kt/d ore or 12Mtpa vat leach-SxEw plant to process oxide ore and the 6Mtpa flotation plant (16.5kt/d ore) to process sulphide ore will produce copper cathodes and copper concentrate. The total capital investment for each circuit was estimated at US$1,583.93 million including US$768.03 million for the sulphide circuit and US$815.9 million for the leaching circuit.
