Report summary
Mungana King Vol zinc mine is fully owned by Aurora Metals. The operation has two underground deposits, Mungana and King Vol. Mining from both deposits restarted in 2017. Mungana transitioned into care and maintemance in 2019. King Vol was placed into under care and maintenance in 2020 and re-opened in Q4 2021. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
