Mungari gold mine
Report summary
The Mungari operations consist of Frog's Leg underground mine, White Foil and Cutters Ridge open pit mines and the 2Mtpa CIL Mungari mill. It is located approximately 20km west of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia and has been operating since 2007. In 2021, Evolution acquired a portfolio of high-grade underground mines within 8km of Mungari’s mill from Northern Star Limited. The acquisition added two underground mines - Kundana Operations and East Kundana Joint Venture (EKJV) in which Evolution has a 51% stake. Other assets that were acquired included the Carbine Project (100%) and a 75% interest in the West Kundana Joint Venture (WKJV). The transaction more than doubled the Mungari Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves and consolidated a 860 sq. km. land package and established Mungari as Evolution's fourth cornerstone asset.
