Report summary

Arrium Mining and Materials own the Peculiar Knob high-grade (62% Fe) direct-shipping-ore (DSO) hematite project located approximately 90 kilometres from Coober Pedy and 600 kilometres north of Whyalla in South Australia. High grade hematite ore is extracted via conventional open cut methods using contractors. Arrium closed the mine in January 2015 in response to low iron ore prices.
