Report summary

Resolution is one of the largest undeveloped copper deposits in the world. Resolution will be mined by underground methods at a mining rate of 120kt/d. In 2008, Rio Tinto announced that a $652 million pre-feasibility report for the project was scheduled for release in 2012. As at Q4 2015, the pre-feasibility study was in progress. In November 2014, Resolution completed the #10 shaft to the depth of 6,943ft, making it the country's deepest shaft. Total cost for the project up to date was quoted at US$1 billion....
