Rosh Pinah zinc mine
Report summary
Rosh Pinah mine is located 600km South of Windhoek. It is a underground operation with ore treated in an on-site plant with an annual throughput capacity of 700kt/a. This report has been updated to incorporate the 2021 Feasibility Study for the Rosh Pinah 2.0 Expansion Project. Underground mine life is defined to 12.5 years with a production capacity of 1.3Mt/a. Development capex was estimated at US$111M. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset.
