Report summary
This is the largest steel plant in Salzgitter's steel division. The plant produces hot rolled and cold rolled coil, predominantly for sale to the domestic market. It also has electro-galvanising and hot dip galvanising capacity. Salzgitter has a 0.8 Mtpa heavy plate mill in Ilsenburg, a section mill at Peiner Trager, and a tubes division supplying pipe and tube for a variety of applications.
