San Jorge is an early stage copper development project in the Mendoza province of Argentina. The project proposes open pit mining, copper recovery using heap leaching and an SxEw plant to produce cathode. The SxEw plant, heap pads and acid plant is proposed to be located in the neighbouring San Juan province. The project was placed on care and maintenance in year 2019.
