The Sorby Hills project is located in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. With large scale exploration starting in 1971, the project area consists of over 10 mineral occurrences along a 10km lineament associated to Mississippi style Pb-Ag-Zn mineralisation. A 2023 DFS including a 2024 update envisage a base case scenario of a 9-year long open pit operation with a processing capacity of 2.3Mt/a feed. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset.
