Sorby Hills lead mine project
Report summary
The Sorby Hills project is located in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. With large scale exploration starting in 1971, the project area consists of over 10 mineral occurrences along a 10km lineament associated to Mississippi style Pb-Ag-Zn mineralisation. A 2020 PFS envisages a base case scenario of a 10-year long open pit operation processing around 1.5Mtpa ore. The pre-tax NPV at an 8% discount stands at A$303M with a pre-tax IRR of 46%. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset.
