The Woodlawn restart project is a fully permitted zinc-copper project located in New South Wales, Australia, approximately 50km northeast of Canberra. In the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) released in July 2016, Heron confirmed that the project would consist of the Woodlawn Underground Project (WUP), and the Woodlawn Retreatment Project (WRP) which encompasses the reprocessing of the 1978-1998 tailings by using high-pressure water-jet monitoring (hydraulic mining). First concentrate production commenced in Q2 2019 with maiden concentrate shipments of zinc and lead occuring in Q4 2019 and of copper in Q1 2020. The mine was put under care and maintenance on 24th March 2020 indefinitely.
