Yunnan Aluminium has a total of eight smelters in Yunnan province. This Yunnan smelter in our database comprises four old plants of them - 203-ktpa Yangzonghai, 250-ktpa Runxin, 330-ktpa Yongxin and 316-ktpa Zexin, which we cost and report them as a single entity. Yunnan Aluminium commissioned these four hydro-powered smelters over ten years, with the total capacity of 1.1 Mtpa. Chalco acquired Yunnan Aluminium in 2018 and then achieved 3.1 Mtpa low emission hydro-powered aluminium capacity in China.</div>
