US Gulf Coast remains in deep freeze
Report summary
The entire North American oil supply chain will feel the effects of the supply and demand disruptions from the winter weather, which brought volatility to the US Gulf Coast regional oil and product markets this week. Upstream, midstream, and downstream facilities have been hit, which will certainly impact markets in the Permian, the Mid-continent (including Cushing), and potentially even Western Canada. In this report, we provide an update on the winter storm oil supply chain impacts from 15-18 Feb as captured across Wood Mackenzie’s suite of real-time monitoring offerings.
