Commodity Market Report
Regional product markets short-term outlook March 2024
Report summary
This update incorporates all of the regional crude runs and product-by-product supply-demand balances through to end-2025 on a regional level. February saw product inventories fall for both gasoline and diesel as heavy global maintenance continued to weigh on supply. Despite the ongoing disruption to trade in the Red Sea, markets have normalized and E/W flows have continued to flow, easing concerns in Europe around an undersupply of distillate. With Spring maintenance set to continue in March, balances will continue to tighten, setting up for another Summer of below-average product stocks.
