Asset Report
Oman tight gas unconventional play
Report summary
The Sultanate of Oman's non-associated gas potential has drawn increasing attention both from a domestic and international perspective. With economic growth over the last 10 years being driven by gas-fuelled industries, a looming gas deficit stimulated the opening up of Omani acreage to international operators in an attempt by the Ministry of Oil and Gas to increase reserves and production.
