Strathcona Resources is further consolidating its position in the Clearwater oil sands region, through the Cdn$800 million acquisition of Cenovus's Tucker thermal SAGD asset. This deal adds 20,000 b/d of bitumen production and is a logical addition to Strathcona's portfolio.
