The high pressure/high temperature (HP/HT) Glengorm field lies in the Central North Sea close to Gannet. CNOOC International discovered the field in 2019 and it was thought to be the largest gas discovery in the UK since Culzean in 2008. A disappointing appraisal resulted in a downgrade from the initial estimate of 250 mmboe. We classify Glengorm as a contingent resource.
